… women only, the debut album by YuWen Huang, is a collection of selected piano works by outstanding female composers of the 19th and 20th centuries: Mel Bonis, Augusta Holmès, Clara Wieck Schumann, Cécile Chaminade, Lili Boulanger, Fanny Mendelssohn, Amy Beach.
A necklace of small and major compositional pearls of romantic music -embracing a century of utmost musical creativity- from the era of Biedermeier leading to full blossom of the Romantic, the time of the Belle Époque and to the begin of the Roaring Twenties.
